Nice park to have a walk, jog ,walk the dog,or a bike ride. It's not huge but there's plenty of different routes to go down so depending on how energetic your feeling you could be there for just an hour or several, there's a map at the entrance which I suggest you take a picture of as there's no more in the park. Some areas have tarmac paths but there's muddy paths too so depending on the time of year it might be quite muddy. There's a good little hike up to a war memorial with fabulous views around Manchester , it's nice to sit on one of the benches up there and just breathe and take it all in.The park only has a little car park but it's free . There is a cafe and toilets but everytime I've been they've both been shut so take your own drinks and food! It's a nice clean park with seating areas and benches throughout. There's a little playground area for kids next to the cafe that kids look to enjoy. The park is situated in an area that has plenty of shops and plenty of pubs to go and eat, some of them are also dog friendly.

Seen way too many people watching their dogs go and leaving behind the shit
THERES SIGNS THAT SAY PLEASE REMEMBER TO PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG FGS
ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE..I UNDERSTAND ITS NATURE BUT PEOPLE WALK ON THE PATHS ..ITS MADE FOR HUMANS TOO NOT JUST YOUR PETS

Was very busy with the snow today, but great for sledging with plenty of parking.
